Student Ambassadors

The Student Ambassadors provide opportunities to involve and connect students, alumni, and friends of Gordon College, while encouraging philanthropy and community, and instilling College pride. Ambassadors serve as representatives of the excellence of a Gordon education and showcase the impact that the College has made on their lives.

The Student Ambassadors are made up of four committees:

Admissions Committee:

This committee works with the Admissions Department to help provide meaningful experiences for prospective students visiting Gordon College.  It also provides tours of the College to specific guests as well as ongoing personal correspondence with prospective students throughout the year.

Alumni Committee:

This committee works with the Alumni Department to provide opportunities for Gordon alumni to interact with current students through social and networking events.  It also sponsors an annual Alumni Christmas Coffeehouse, inviting alumni to come share their musical talents with current students before finals in December.

Community Outreach Committee:

This is a new committee this year that will be striving to invite people and groups in the North Shore area onto Gordon’s beautiful campus to see firsthand what Gordon is all about.  It hopes to invite schools, selectmen and women, senior citizens and many other groups to campus to interact with our current students and programs.

Student Philanthropy Committee:

This committee works hard to promote hospitality and generosity among our student body.  Each year, the Student Philanthropy committee assists with Gordon’s Giving Tuesday event, encouraging current students toward gratitude and participation.
